After growing up in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Marcie Maffett attended Vanderbilt University where she graduated with an honors degree in neuroscience, magna cum laude. She then went on to receive her medical training from The Ohio State University.
After completing her internship and residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Dr. Maffett received her degree in obstetrics and gynecology. She has been in private practice with Specialists in Obstetrics & Gynecology of Columbus since 2008, and holds practicing privileges at both Riverside Methodist and Dublin Methodist Hospitals.
Dr. Maffett’s interests and specialties include infertility treatment, fibroids, urinary dysfunction and pregnancy. She is board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is an active member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Maffett is a resident of Upper Arlington and is married with two daughters.
In medical school, I realized that I wanted to build long-term relationships with my patients. By practicing in obstetrics and gynecology, I am able to be a source of continuity for their care.
