Urogynecology:

Our staff includes a physician, Dr. Stuart Weprin, who has over 30 years experience in the evaluation and treatment of female urinary incontinence, (involuntary urine loss), as well as pelvic prolapse (fallen bladder, vagina, or uterus). Our office is equipped to perform the specialized tests needed for a complete and accurate diagnosis of urinary incontinence.  We offer the latest procedures for treatment of this disorder, which can usually be repaired with outpatient surgery. In addition, Dr. Weprin has extensive experience with the latest vaginal sling procedures for prolapse.

Vaginal Hysterectomy:

Our physicians are trained in and regularly perform the majority of hysterectomies through the vagina.  By using this approach there are no abdominal incisions.  Benefits of this procedure include less pain and trauma to the body, as well as a quicker recovery.

In-Office Sterilization:

We have over six years experience with the Essure in-office sterilization technique. Using the Essure system, our patients are able to avoid hospitalization and general anesthesia and are able to return to work the next day. There are no incisions, and this is a highly effective procedure.

In-office Endometrial Ablation (Treatment for Heavy Periods):

For over seven years, we have performed a procedure called Her Option cryoablation for treatment of heavy menstrual periods.  As with Essure, there are no incisions or general anesthesia, and this is an extremely effective treatment as well.
