Dr. Huey is a board certified OB/GYN with over 30 years experience in clinical practice. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1962 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Agronomy. Dr. Huey continued his education at Kentucky and graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine in 1966. He completed his Rotating General Internship and Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at David Grant U.S.A.F. Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. Afterwards, Dr. Huey did a Fellowship at the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. In addition to his formal education, Dr. Huey conducted research as a Founder and Investigator in HWC Women's Research Center.

Dr. Huey specializes in High Risk Obstetrics, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Women's Research Studies. He is professionally associated with the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and Society of Air Force Clinical Surgeons. He is also affiliated with the Medical Center at Elizabeth Place, Kettering Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital, Sycamore Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.

In addition to private practice, he has held academic appointments at the University of Nebraska, Creighton University, Wright State University and the University of Southern California.  Dr. Huey resides in Dayton with his wife, Janet, and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and camping, and fishing with his grandson.
